Eric Saussine is a film writer, producer and director and editor, known for Überstar (2019), Shamelady (2007) and Shademaker (2015).
Eric Saussine was born on February 7, 1973 in Alès, Gard, France. He was involved in many movie buff associations while doing his first short movies – a category he long remained faithful to.
He was involved with popular movie news website Unification France from its Inception when it was mostly about famous sci-fi TV franchises before becoming a multi-thematic website about all sci-fi and fantasy screen stories – and more. Saussine was vice-president of the group for eight years, conducting many interviews, and the website still has hundreds of thousands of french-speaking visitors.
With Luc Le Clech, French James Bond Club president with whom he worked and Philippe Lombard, well known movie journalist who published some fifty books on the subjet, he formed a trio authoring many short comedies – the adventures of Paul and Raoul – with Le Clech producing and starring, Lombard writing and starring and Saussine directing and supervising post production. In a twist, the trio delivered a fantastic comedy tale, Überstar (2019), with Richard Sammel (Inglorious Basterds, Casino Royale, The Strain) guest-starring.
Once a teacher he got to collaborate with also former teacher José Ainouz, with whom he co-wrote and edited a couple of documentaries notably, Georges Bensoussan, an Historian – The price of Freedom and 7 October 2023, A Crime Without a Name.
For years he was editor in chief of deluxe big-format magazine Archives 007, supervising a dozen yearly issues. A fan of Ian Fleming’s James Bond for his adventurous bon-vivant qualities, he directed three expensive-looking tribute movies about the famous spy. They reached millions of views on YouTube.
He created production company Constellation Studios in 2004 and is planning to produce and direct a fully-fledged movie project, Evya, Love and Be Free.

Il a participé à la création du site d’informations Unification France, qui traitait principalement des franchises télévisées de science-fiction avant de devenir un site multithématique consacré à toutes les histoires de science-fiction et de fantastique à l’écran – et bien plus encore. Autrefois enseignant, il a collaboré avec José Ainouz, également ancien enseignant, avec lequel il a coécrit et monté quelques documentaires, notamment Georges Bensoussan, un historien, le prix de la vérité et 7 octobre 2023, un crime sans nom.
Pendant des années, il a été rédacteur en chef du magazine de luxe grand format Archives 007, supervisant une douzaine de numéros annuels. Amateur du James Bond de Ian Fleming pour ses qualités d’aventurier bon vivant, il a réalisé trois luxueux films-hommages sur le célèbre espion. Ils ont atteint des millions de vues sur YouTube.
