Jackpot is an unfinished film that was shot between December 1974 and May 1975 in the south of France at Victorine Studios, renowned for its 100-year cinema history and its idyllic location on the French Riviera which has attracted artists from all over the world.
The film was directed by Terence Young, the “father” of James Bond on the big screen, who directed Sean Connery in the first films of the famous saga.
The cast is impressive, even when viewed half a century later. The main characters were played by Richard Burton, Charlotte Rampling, James Coburn, Capucine, and Maurice Ronet.

Jackpot est un film inachevé qui fut tourné entre décembre 1974 et mai 1975, dans le sud de la France au Studio de la Victorine, célèbre pour son patrimoine cinématographique centenaire et pour son emplacement idyllique sur la Côte d’Azur qui a su attirer des artistes du monde entier.
Le film été réalisé par Terence Young, le papa de James Bond, au cinéma, qui a dirigé Sean Connery, dans les premiers films de la célèbre saga.

This long-term film project requires the work of both an archivist – to track down the long-lost archives of the film Jackpot – and a documentary filmmaker. Interviews have already been conducted with several veterans of the Victorine Studios and other witnesses to the filming of this « ghost film, » and filming has taken place at the original locations around Nice, France. Produced in cooperation with the Victorine Studios and with the support of the city of Nice.
Tournage au long cours qui nécessite tant un travail de documentaliste, de recherche pour retrouver les archives enterrées du film Jackpot que de documentariste. Des interviews ont déjà été menées avec plusieurs vétérans des studios de la Victorine et autre témoins du tournage de ce film fantôme, et des tournages menés sur les lieux de tournages orignaux autour de Nice. Produit avec la coopération des Studios de la Victorine et le soutien de la municipalité de Nice.
